As a part of the Canadian Fencing Federation (CFF) Armband Program, Ottawa Fencing holds regular Armband testing.

The Armband Program is a comprehensive progression through the sport of fencing for fencers of all ages, encompassing all aspects of the sport as fencers progress from beginner to high performance athletes. As fencers work towards receiving their Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Red, and Black Armbands, they will learn the skill sets necessary to become successful athletes, coaches, and referees.

REGISTERING FOR A TEST

Ottawa Fencing Armband tests are open to all fencers!

Pre-registration is not needed for those wishing to attend a Yellow or Orange Armband test. However, those wishing to attend a Green, Blue, Red, or Black Armband Test should pre-register by calling Paul ApSimon at 613-852-3832.

The cost for each test is $20, and fencers must be in proper fencing attire to participate.
